Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University

Emily Huggins

I am so excited to teach 6th grade English/Reading at Bradley this year and be a part of this wonderful community. I am a NEISD kid starting in kindergarten all the way to graduating from Johnson High School. I also am a very proud graduate of Texas A&M University and have my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my second year teaching 6th grade English/Reading at Bradley but I also have experience teaching 6th grade in Navasota and when I studied abroad in Italy where I got the opportunity to teach Italian 6th graders. My favorite subjects are English, Reading, and Social Studies.

Some of my favorite things are the Spurs, Aggie Football, traveling, and ANYTHING with peanut butter! Over the summer I did a lot of hiking and I am slowly making my way through all the National and State Parks. Reading is another one of my hobbies, some of my greatest adventures have been when I was reading a good book.

My goal for this year is for every one of my students to walk away from this school year feeling positive about writing and reading. I encourage parental support and I am here to answer any questions you might have.
