Wendy Taylor

This is my 12th year teaching at Bradley, and my 11th year teaching 8th grade Reading. Before that, I supervised Student Teachers, taught Children's Literature, and Content Area Reading classes as an Adjunct Professor at UTSA. I began my teaching career as a Journalism, Special Education, Math, Reading, and At-Risk teacher at Alamo Heights High School. I travel extensively during the summer, and throughout the year when I get the chance. My goal as your child's teacher is to educate and inspire him or her to become a responsible, compassionate, and well-informed citizen of the world, equipped to solve the problems that will arise during their lifetimes.

"It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to give them something worth reading. Something that will stretch their imaginations – something that will help them make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out toward people whose lives are quite different from their own." - Katherine Paterson
