Who is Ms. Carper?

I was born in Austin, Texas, but was raised in Corpus Christi. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and two minors, Reading and Early Childhood Education. I am half way through my Master's Program in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix.

I started my teaching career in Odessa, Texas at Reagan Magnet School. Moving to Pflugerville, a suburb of Austin, I worked at Spring Hill Elementary School for 10 years. During my time in Pflugerville, I had two of the most adorable little girls, Savanah and Siena. Savanah is my independent 6th grader and is attending Lopez MS for her very first year of Middle School!! Siena is my adorable 3rd grader right here at WO! I call them my little angels and they are such a blessing to me!

We moved to Stone Oak 8 years ago and couldn't be happier. We love the area and especially Wilderness Oak Elementary School! I am so excited to be teaching your child this year. We are off to a great start and will have many wonderful experiences together. I am proud to be your child's teacher and am predicting an amazing year ahead of us!!  I hope your child likes Harry Potter!

Ms. Carper is a fun baker! She has created a Candy Land board game cake, a Doc McStuffins doctor bag cake, a fishing hole cake with water, sand and even fish coming out of it, a 3D frog princess cake, a 3 tiered princess castle cake, a race track Hot Wheels cake, a fire breathing dragon cake, a 3D pirate ship- just to name a few!
