Mrs. Shannon Jenn
Welcome to 5th Grade!! My name is Shannon Jenn and this is my 24th year of teaching and 17th year at Wetmore. I love where I work and can't imagine working anywhere else!
I am originally from Conroe, Texas. I moved to San Antonio in 1998 to attend Trinity University and have been here ever since! I started out teaching for 8 years at Jackson-Keller, where I did my student teaching, and have been at Wetmore since 2007.
My husband Bill was a teacher as well, but he recently retired after 30 years in education. He is on to new adventures this year!
The light of our lives is our 10 year old Jackson, who is starting Fifth Grade this year at Stone Oak Elementary! I'm excited to have him in the grade that I teach!
I love : traveling, spending time with my family, going to the movies, watching the Houston Astros, collecting J's and moose, Target, Sonic and Pappasitos!
I am looking forward to a great year with our Rangers!

In Fifth Grade we are departmentalized, so the kids rotate to the 4 teachers for Reading, Math, Science and Huddle Time (small group intervention)
