Ms. Aly Kirchhof
Hey y'all! I am Ms. Kirchhof (typically I go by Ms. K) but, I am soon to be Mrs. Crawford. I am getting married in Janruary 2021. I am one of the 7th grade science teachers at Harris.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, and attended NEISD as a student. My family later moved to New Braunfels where I graduated from high school (Go Unicorns!). I attended Trinity University here in San Antonio and graduated with my Bachelors in Human Communication in 2015 and Maters of Arts in Teaching in 2016. I started my career at Walzem and am incredibly excited to be here at Harris again this year!
Teaching is my passion, but when I'm not at school I love being outdoors. Whether I'm Jeeping, working on my garden, or going for a walk, I will find every excuse to be outdoors. I have 2 dogs, Oscar and Maisey, a cat, Creature, a chameleon, Theo, two rabbits, Jenny and Thomas, and a frog, Bert, plus a few goldfish that live in my hydroponics garden. Studying animals has always been a huge interest of mine.
My fiance and I are homesteaders, which means we work to grow as much of our own food as possible. We are constantly working to improve our practices and become more self-reliant. One day we hope to live on a farm and raise chickens, pigs, goats and a cow.
To get in contact with me please email: email@example.com or reach out through my parent communication app, ClassTag. More information is located in the Family Communications tab.

Below you will find a collection of important things to keep in mind for my class.
Try. You are a work in progress. I don’t expect you’ll always get it right the first time but, I do expect that you keep trying until you get it right.
Ask questions. Don’t be afraid to speak up.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself. Reflect on your work and learning. Could you have done better? What can you do better next time?
Invest in every opportunity.
Don’t impede the learning of others.
