Hello, my name is Katharyn Andermatt. This is my sixth year of teaching at Tuscany Heights Elementary. Prior to living in Texas, I lived in North Carolina where I grew up, spending 18 years and attended college at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and graduated in May 2009. Go Pirates!
My father was a college football coach, so we spent a lot of time moving around. I have lived in Florida, Wisconsin, Waco, Texas, Fort Worth, Texas, Austin, Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma. My parents were born and raised in Texas and decided to come back home after my father retired from coaching my senior year in high school.
I got married in October 2015 in Castroville, Texas where both of our parents live. We have two dogs together; Bentley, a yorkshire terrier and Patton, a yellow lab.
I am very passionate about animals, children and education. My goal is to teach your children, guiding them to their own academic success, preparing them for their future academic and professional career. I will teach them to lead, honor and excel in everything they do. I am excited to be back at Tuscany Heights Elementary for another year, inspiring children each and every day!
