Ms. Irene Martinez

My name is Irene Martinez and I graduated with my Bachelors degree for Interdisciplinary Studies in 2012 from The University of Texas at El Paso.  This is my third year at Thousand Oaks as a fourth grade teacher and I am excited to begin another successful school year. I recently taught at Larkspur Elementary where I taught second grade. I have been working with children for over 10 years, working with all age groups.

I have 2 handsome boys of my own, Angel and Isaiah, which are my pride and joy. I have been in San Antonio for 3 years now but do miss my hometown in El Paso, Texas. My hobbies include spending time with my son's and reading. We love going to the movies, kayaking, fishing, skating, eating out and we enjoy baking chocolate cakes! Family quality time is very important to me therefore my majority of my spare time is spent with my two loves.

I look forward to an exciting school year with your child and can't wait to help your child reach their highest potential!
