BS Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 Generalist

Mrs. Araceli Elizondo

I am excited to be your child's Math and Science teacher this year. I am looking foward to partnering with you to make sure this is a wonderful and successful year for your child.

About Me: This is my fifth year at 'The Ranch' and tenth year over all. I recieved my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX and I began my teaching career at Judson ISD. I am so incredibly lucky to have such amazing administrators and a strong 4th Grade team. I am married to a busy auditor and have two beautiful children, Mia (7) and Ricky (4). If I'm not in school, you'll find me on the soccer field or basketball court cheering on my babies.

My Philosophy: I believe that students need to be the leaders of the classroom. Even fourth graders are old enough to be held accountable and should take responsibility for their learning. I do not believe that kids were made to sit in seats. They need to get up and move around. In my class, you will often hear music from different genres, kids walking around to solve a task card, or students on the floor working with a partner.

This Year: I will be teaching Math and Science!
