Mrs. Lilia Palmiery-Victoria

My passion for teaching has spanned for decades across curricular levels and beyond cultural boundaries. This school year marks my 50th year in the teaching profession, thirty-three in the Philippines and currently my 17th year in San Antonio. My reflection takes me back to my family who inspired and supported me throughout my college education, to my beloved Alma Mater, the Philippine Normal University (PNU), the National Center for Teacher Education in my country, and to the San Antonio North East Independent School District that afforded me the golden opportunity to be a member of its teaching staff. As I celebrate this milestone year, it is with profound gratitude that I reaffirm my commitment to my mission of educating children and facilitating their optimum development. It is my firm belief that every student has an innate capability to learn and achieve his fullest potentials with the unconditional love and nurturance from his significant others. Working in partnership with the parents, the teacher plays a key and significant role in helping students be successful and become productive citizens of the country in the future. In line with this expectation, I treat my students like my own and strive to teach them from my heart towards making a difference in their lives.

I look forward to another year of collaboratively working with my students, their parents, and my colleagues in the Steubing Ranch Family. As part of a professional community, I am excited about new learnings and opportunites for growth along my teaching journey. With steadfast faith,  positivity, and adherence to professional virtues, I am determined to contribute to NEISD's  tradition of excellence and to Steubing Ranch's collective effort of " Maintaining or Moving Forward."
