I am extremely excited to be working with the educational staff at Stahl Elementary School to help teach the students in our community.
I married my husband in 1984 and we have three daughters together. All three daughters graduated from North East ISD and attended college throughout the United States.
I attended the University of Texas San Antonio. I graduated in 1998 with an Education Degree. I received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Development from Our Lady of the Lake University in December of 2011.
I previously taught 1st grade at St. Monica Catholic School for 10 years and decided to become a special education teacher. I attended training and became certified in 2007. This is my 9th year teaching special education in an elementary setting. I have worked with grades K-5th in specialized support, redirection, resource and in co-teach settings.
My goal is to educate your children to meet or exceed their potential by modeling appropriate language, using guided practice and modeling exceptions.
In my class your child will benefit from a teacher who has experience working with students that have IEPs and special needs. I look forward to working with your child or children this year.
My contact information is above- contact me any time with questions or concerns. :)
