Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Cecilia Martinez and this is my 13th year teaching. I completed my elementary and middle school education in Mexico, where my parents raised me. I then completed high school in Brownsville, TX and began my college education there at UTB. After completing my bachelor's in Computer Science, I realized that my true vocation was in teaching and obtained my certification in 2006, here in San Antonio, TX. I have loved every minute of it and look forward to partnering together in shaping your children's foundation in education. I love building relationships with my students and their parents in order to help my students reach their full academic potential and getting ready for Kindergarten. I cannot wait to be able to share all about their social, emotional and academic growth when we meet for parent-teacher conferences in October. 

Bienvenidos a Pre-K! Mi nombre es Cecilia Martinez y este es mi 13º año de enseñanza. 
Completé mi educación primaria y secundaria en México, donde mis padres me criaron.
Luego completé la escuela preparatoria en Brownsville, TX y comencé mi educación 
universitaria allí en UTB. Después de completar mi licenciatura me di cuenta de que
mi verdadera vocación estaba en la enseñanza y obtuve mi certificación en 2006, aquí 
en San Antonio, TX. Me ha encantado cada minuto y espero con ansias asociarme para 
dar forma a la base de educación de sus hijos. Me encanta fomentar relaciones con 
mis alumnos y sus padres para ayudar a que mis alumnos alcancen su máximo potencial 
académico y se preparen para el Kindergarten. Espero poder compartir todo sobre el 
crecimiento social, emocional y académico de sus hijos cuando nos reunamos para las 
conferencias de padres y maestros en octubre.
