Mrs. Michelle Lugo
Give your child a gift that will last them a lifetime! Give them the gift of a second language!
My teaching experience actually began in Monterrey, Mexico. I had recently graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Spanish and had returned to Mexico to live. I was offered a position to teach 8th grade English at one of the top private schools in Monterrey. I worked there for three year in which time I married my husband, Jorge, and had my first son, Alexander. My experience in teaching continued as a 2nd grade teacher at another prestigious private school in Monterrey after welcoming my second son, Nicholas.
In 2003 I moved to San Antonio. In the years since, I have had the privilege to help a charter school set up their Dual Language Program from the ground up while working as a Kindergarten Dual Language teacher. I have worked at NEISD since 2013, and I am excited to be a part of the Regency Place Elementary staff. My goal is to lead your child in their quest of acquiring two languages and helping them be not only bilingual but fully biliterate. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have or help your child might need. Thank you for giving your child the gift!!!
