Bachelor Degree in Spanish Bilingual Certification

Mrs. Elsa Luna

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am proud to say that I have been here at Regency Place Elementary for 16 years.  It is a blessing to work with a group of professionals dedicated to their careers, whom strive for each student to reach to their highest of their potential. I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love with the hope that I may inspire, encourage, and support those around me. Our students and their families motivate me to give my best in my profession. They are my inspiration and motivation to give my services as a teacher. I hope to empower my students with the learning tools to succeed in the school setting and in the real world.

I recieved my bachelor's degree from the University of Permain Basin in Odessa, Tx. I have my certification to work with students from pre-kindergarten through eigth grade. I have been certified as a bilingual teacher. My love for education started in my child development class in high school. I had the opportunity to work in different classroom settings. Prior to my teaching certification, I worked for five years as a techer assistant. It was a great learning experience. I also, worked for five years as a certified teacher in Ector County and going on sixteen wonderful years in NEISD. Teaching is a great profession because we never stop learning in our ever changing world. I inspire to continue to serve and to provide a safe and positive learning experience for my students.

My passion is to work with bilingual students. I hope that my students build a love for books and a good self-esteem. I hope that my students respect each other's differences and value life. That they may respect and care for people and for our envionment. I am excited to work with your child.  Together we will help them develop their skills and talents. Parents with your support I hope to create a positive learning experience this 2020-2021 school year. May our students be proud of their accomplishments and inspired to thrive in school.
