Miss Katherine Llewellyn
Hi! Welcome to my teacher page!
I am so excited to be at Oak Meadow teaching 1st grade. This will be my second year in first grade and I've previously taught 3rd grade for 4 years.
I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I have loved every moment. I love instilling a lifelong love of reading in my students and strive to make personal connections with each of my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my nephew, reading, and painting. Each summer, I take a trip to a new place. I have travelled to South Korea, France, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and Jamaica. I'm mildly cat obsessed. :) My two cats are Penelope and Gizmo.
Creating lifelong learners and leaders who can read and think independently is vital to the success of my students.
