Welcome to Northwood!  I am so excited that you will be with us this year.  Fifth grade is one of the most special times in your life.  You have one last year to enjoy your wonderful elementary school family before you head off to new adventures in middle school.  I feel so lucky to be a part of your final year at Northwood.

I am a proud graduate of UTSA and this will be my 25th year of teaching. I have a Master’s degree in School Administration and a School Librarian certification.  My favorite thing about being an educator is sharing in the joy a student feels when they’ve learned something new.  My former students will tell you that I love learning new things as well, so I can’t wait to hear what you have to share with us!

I believe that we have a collective responsibility for creating a caring classroom environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected and encouraged.  I want every student to bring their best effort and to feel proud of their accomplishments.
