Hello Fourth Grade Families!

My name is Mrs. Lopez and I am honored to be your child’s fourth grade teacher this year.  I have been teaching for ten years, five of them have been at Montgomery Elementary.  I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2009 and a master’s degree in Education in 2012.  “Everyone’s a Lobo!  Woof! Woof! Woof!”  I absolutely love school myself, and cannot wait to pass my passion for learning onto your child!

Although I was born and raised in New Mexico, I have come to love Texas and consider it home.   My husband and I have a beautiful family of three girls.  When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do in school,  I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my sweet girls, reading a good book, cooking and of course, shopping! 

This year your child will not only grow tremendously as a scholar but as an individual.  I put 100% effort into everything I do and I expect the same effort from my students.  This effort will ensure that we learn, grow and have a lot of fun this year!
