Mrs. Dana Mattox

I graduated from Levelland High School, South Plains College and West Texas A&M University.  I taught in Kermit, Texas, Dallas, Texas, Belen, New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Spokane, Washington.  I joined NEISD ten years ago.   I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Physical Edcation.  I am certified in Early Childhood Education and ESL.

I have 37 years of teaching experience, including PreK, kindergarten, first, third and fourth grade classrooms.  I also have experience teaching physical education at primary and secondary levels.  I enjoy teaching students of all ages but my heart is with the younger students.  I have 17 years of experience teaching kindergarten.  This is my third year of teaching PreK.  I am delighted to be working with Pre K students at Longs Creek Elementary.
