Hello Everyone!

Welcome to 5th grade Science!  I am starting my 16th year at Longs Creek and this year is going to be very different for fifth grade.  We are departmentalized - which means you will have four teachers this year instead of just one.  I am lucky enough to be your Science teacher.    I have planned Science for fifth grade for the past five years and I absolutely love it!  I love science and all the wonderful different parts of it that we study.  We study matter, different energies, animals and their adaptations, the solar system, weather and how the earth is always changing.  It's so fascinating and so much fun!  

I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of our terrific fifth grade scientists!  We are going to have a great year.  See you soon!
