My name is Trenton Blanchette, and I am a first-year teacher and Assistant Tennis coach at Johnson High School. I am very optimistic about entering the education field and excited to begin making connections and teaching the young minds of tomorrow. Graduating from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in general studies, with concentrations in Psychology, History, and Political Science, has equipped me with the knowledge and readiness to become an educator. Though I am a first-year teacher I have been a private, USPTA certified, tennis coach in San Antonio for the past 5 years where I began to foster my love for teaching and connecting to students. My classroom approach is to help students grow both academic and professional skills so they can be successful in a variety of environments. At home I am married to a seasoned educator who is currently an amazing Art teacher at Bradley Middle School, and together we have a beautiful one year old daughter.
