Mrs. Jessica A. Ramirez

Welcome to AP World History/World History at James Madison High School! My name is Jessica Ramirez and I am in my fifteenth year of teaching. This is my first year at Madison and I am excited to be a part of the Maverick family. I earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio and started my teaching career at Waxahachie High School before coming to Madison. I have one son who is a freshman at Texas State University. 

AP World History: Modern takes a global approach to examining and analyzing the patterns and processes of world history from 1200 to the present. All lessons and work done in our class will be in preparation for the AP exam.
