Mrs. Segovia-Allen

Happy '23-'24 school year!!!

My name is Maria Segovia-Allen and I am a new proud member of the Madison Maverick family. Although I am new to Madison HS, this is my 19th year teaching in San Antonio.  I have taught both Spanish and English, mostly in NEISD.  I am a native of San Antonio, Texas and I attended UIW for my undergraduate & graduate studies.  I am super excited about being here this year and look forward to working with you this school year.

I am married to an Air Force veteran and a proud mother to a 9-year-old daughter named Sofia. When we are not attending soccer tournaments during the weekends, I enjoy taking day trips with my family and rooting for the Denver Broncos and Ohio State Buckeyes. I am an animal lover and have 4 fur cat babies and 1 fur dog baby.
