• We would like all of our students to enjoy the 360-degree experience while attending Wood Middle School. We do this by providing a welcoming atmosphere where students can explore and participate in meaningful enriching extra-curricular activities in addition to challenging coursework.

Wood Middle School offers students and their parents many opportunities to enjoy our community and its diverse interests.

Robotics Team

Wood Robotics is going strong. Since its initial year in 2014, our Robotics program has grown from 1 team to 6 teams. These teams now compete at the state level and have moved on to advance to the Worlds Championship in Dallas,Texas. Wood Robotics is one of the most successful at the Middle School level in NEISD. Through participation in the class, students have the opportunity to earn high school credit once the year is successfully completed. Come join our legacy of success!

The NJHS program empowers and equips our students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in our school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a necessary bridge between students and school leaders—helping you to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.
