Mrs. Maria Christina Castro
In May 2000, I graduated from Southwest Texas State University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual Education. In May 2013, I obtained my Master’s Degree with a major in Educational Leadership from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
I have 17 wonderful years of teaching experience. I have taught Bilingual grades 1st-5th grade. I was one of the first Dual Language pioneers at El Dorado Elementary when I got hired in 2007.
I am honored and very grateful to be working with extraordinary talented students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. I strongly believe that together as a team, we can enhance our children's potential to ensure that they will be “Life-Long Learners Through Leading” so they can achieve their goals and dreams.
