It's great to be a Lopez Panther! I am excited about joining the Lopez faculty this year, teaching 7th grade math.

While earning my degree in engineering, I fell in love with teaching through my work-study job as a tutor. The day after graduation, I got a job as a long-term math substitute and never left the world of education. For the past 30+ years I have taught and tutored everything from PreAlgebra to Calculus - in classrooms, libraries, coffee shops, and at kitchen tables - in Miami, Florida, Honolulu, Hawaii, Huntsville and Montgomery, Alabama, and now San Antonio, Texas! Most recently, I taught ACT Prep courses to help high school students achieve their personal bests on college entrance exams.

Now I am looking forward to helping Lopez 7th graders achieve their personal bests, reaching goals and helping them grow in understanding of numerical and algebraic concepts that will lay the foundation for successful learning now and into the future.
