I am excited about teaching the curious and energetic students here at Coker ES school.   This is my 20th year teaching elementary school.  I was born, raised, and educated in New York.  I have a bachelor's in Education from Adelphi University & my master's degree from Queens College.  I also have ESL and Gifted and Talented certifications.  While all subjects interest me, my favorites are math, science and health. I enjoy learning new things and continue to expand my own horizons through reading, in-service courses and the pursuit of new educational experiences.

I was married on 'tax day,' April 15,1989. My husband, Jonathan, is a biology professor at Trinity University.  We have two daughters, Danielle and Lily. Danielle lives and works in Milwakee, Wisconsin and because of the move, I have inherited her two geckos, Draco and Jellybean and her tarantula, Phantom. Lucky me!
