Ms. Jennifer Sanchez
I am looking forward to another exciting year of teaching curious and energetic students. I have a passion for working with children and building relationships with them and their families.
I graduated in 1994 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Master's in Early Childhood Education from The University of the Incarnate Word in 1999. I joined the North East ISD family in 1995 as a kindergarten teacher here at Coker Elementary. I have taught kindergarten, first, third, and now loving my journey in fifth grade. I also have my ESL and Gifted and Talented certifications.
My goal is to grow your children, as I do my own, to academic success and prepare them to be lifelong learners and leaders. I provide hands on learning and strive to meet the needs of all of my students in a caring and nurturing environment. I look forward to working with you to maximize your child’s potential. I know that together we can ensure a successful fifth grade year and that your child is well prepared for academic life beyond Coker.
