I am a transplanted Texan.  I am from the cold Chicagoland area.  I love San Antonio and the beautiful weather.  I have lived here for 35 years with my husband.  Most of my family is still in Chicago.  We have a son that has made us very proud parents.  He is a graduate of Texas Tech.  We celebrated in March with a wedding and welcomed our daughter-in-law to the family.    I always miss him and can't wait for the holidays.   They recently purchased their first home in Houston...  Weekend trips for visits.  I have been teaching for 20 years.  Over these years, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, 4th grade and 2nd grade.   I am very excited to be back in 2nd grade.  Cibolo Green is a wonderful school with a community that supports learning.
