Ms. Angela Flanigan

Heyyyyy Wranglers! I am so excited to have the opportunity to share my love and passion for math with each one of you. This will be my third year at Wood. 

My educational philosophy is continually evolving and changing as my own knowledge of teaching and learning continues to grow. Students learn math best when they approach the subject as something they enjoy.

As one of your child’s math teachers, I will teach them how to use math facts regularly and develop an understanding of numerical relations.  I will help them develop their analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.

Math goes beyond problem-solving skills and I will encourage personal responses through logical and illogical arguments. In doing so, it is my hope that my students develop self-awareness and realize how fun math can be.
