My name is Jacob Hernandez, and I am thrilled to return to the East Terrell Hills family as music teacher! I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas before I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. I then went to Texas State University, where I received my Bachelor of Music degree along with my certification to teach Early Childhood through 12th grade.

Music was always my biggest passion growing up! Whether it was singing at home or playing an instrument in my classes, I was always trying to make music in some way. When I got into high school and college, I found out how much I love sharing this love of music through performing and teaching. I want my students to leave my class with a love of music that lasts throughout their lives.

Outside of music, I love spending time with friends and family, playing games, or finding a new movie to watch.
