Welcome! My name is Lauren Herrera, but I go by Scarlett, as well. The kids call me Coach Herrera or Mrs. Herrera, or both. This will be my 5th year teaching, and my 2nd year at Driscoll! I am originally from San Antonio and went to school at Texas A&M University (Whoop!). My family and I moved back from Fort Worth last school year. This year I will be teaching 6th grade Social Studies and coaching Volleyball, Track and Soccer.

When I am not teaching or coaching, I am hanging out with my husband and 2 kids, Cooper (8) and Millie (5). We love to travel and hike and watch and play sports, especially soccer. 

I am so excited to get this year started and enjoy some sense of normalcy again.
