SFC (Retired) Patrick Ysaquirre

Welcome to the home of the Maverick Battalion - Army JROTC.  My name is Patrick Ysaquirre and I am the Army Instructor for James Madison High School.  I served 20 years as a Medic in Army and served in numerous leadership positions.  I was stationed at Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Sam Houston, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center along with several deployments.  I Graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelors in Arts in Science/Business in 2015.  I am proud to serve as an Instructor/Mentor to the Students at James Madison and look forward to working with the Students, making the community better.

The mission and vision of the Maverick JROTC program aligns itself directly with the U.S. Army Cadet Command: “Providing a quality citizenship, character, and leadership development program, while fostering partnerships with communities and educational institutions.” Our standing mission is “To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens”.  Our program will help set the foundation for young people to make good decisions, give back to their community, and prepare for their futures. We will accomplish this through excellent communication, dedication, and teamwork. GO MAVERICKS!
