Mrs. Martha Teresa Silva

Hello, I'm Mrs. Silva and I will be teaching 2nd Grade Dual Language this year.  This will be my first year at Coker Elementary, I am so excited to have been given an opportunity to join the Cub family.  I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  I graduated from UTEP and started my teaching career in El Paso.  I moved to San Antonio 11 years ago and fell in love with it, never turned back.  I have been fortunate to be an educator now for 24 years.  I have taught both Bilingual and Dual classes in Kinder, First and Second.  I am looking forward to building relationships with my students, families and the Coker community.

Hola, soy la Sra. Silva y sera maestra de 2ndo grado en el programa Dual. Este será mi primer año en la primaria Coker. Estoy muy emocionada de tener la oportunidad de unirme a la famila de Cubs. Yo nací y crecí en El Paso, Texas. Después de graduarme de UTEP comencé mi carrera docente en El Paso. Me mudé a San Antonio hace 11 años y me enamoré de él, nunca regresé. He tenido la suerte de ser maestra durante 24 años. He impartido clases tanto bilingües como duales en kinder, primero y segundo. Espero poder establecer relaciones con mis estudiantes, familias y la comunidad de Coker.
