Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tiffany Johnson

Hello Reagan Rattlers! My name is Tiffany Johnson. This if my second year at Ronald Reagan High School, and this is my 6th year with NEISD!! I am thrilled to be apart of the Reagan community. I teach Applied Skills and also work in the Redirection Program on campus. I know this year looks different, but we will navigate through this new way of teaching and learning together! We Are Better Together!!!

I grew up an hour west of Chicago IL. I went to college my freshman year on a Division I full athletic soccer scholarship to Tennessee Technological University. Playing soccer was a huge part of my life growing up, along with a wonderful family and education that helped make me into the person I am today. I missed my family and friends in IL so transfered back to Northern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts and Science with a focus on business and communications. I ran a small business for 5 years after college.

I met my husband in 2004, we got married in 2007, and had twin girls in 2011! We moved to San Antonio in 2013 for my husbands work. We miss our families and friends, but we LOVE San Antonio. Our twin girls are 10 years old and in 4th grade at an elementary school here in NEISD. One of my girls has a very rare chromosomal deletion and is missing 41 genes of a chromosome. My girls are the reason I went into teaching and specifically in to special education. I am proud of the young girls they are becoming. I also have 3 dogs! Two Great Pyrenees mixes and a shi-tzu puppy! I would have more dogs, but my hubby won't let me! I enjoy running, biking, and swimming. I completed my first sprint triathlon last Septemeber, and I have ran 3 half marathons. I can't wait until things get back to normal and to start racing again. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I love watching movies and tv, but also love being outdoors! I like playing golf with hubby, and we love to watch our Chicago sports teams! GO CUBS, BEARS, BULLS, and Blackhawks!

I am really looking forward to this year, not only teaching my students, but also learning from them and getting to know them! Please feel free to email me with any questions at anytime! STRIKE 'EM!!
