Dena Mabry is a magna cum laude graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance. She has had an extensive performing career including work in industrials, trade shows, national tours, and television. She has also been a featured performer in shows with Gregory Hines, Harold Nicholas, Savion Glover, and Chubby Checker.

Dena’s diverse choreography credits include shows with such stars as Clint Black, Garth Brooks, the Village People and Tommy Tune. She has choreographed numerous full length musicals as well as industrial shows and concert pieces.

Ms. Mabry has been teaching and choreographing at NESA since it began 20 years ago. Dena continues a legacy of dance in her family, teaching at the Earle Cobb Dance Studio which her grandfather started 86 years ago. Dena and her family have been fostering a love for dance in Texas for three generations.
