I'm thrilled to be a Reagan Rattler!

I began my career in education in 1990 in the DFW area and have been a teacher, coach and assistant principal through the years.  

I have high schoolers, Avery, a senior, and Braden, a sophomore, and they keep me busy and active.  We adopted a dog, and our dog adopted a cat.  My mom still lives in the house in which I grew up.  It's just a few miles from Reagan, so family dinners are a frequent treat. 

I'm a DIY enthusiast and love to refinish and repurpose furniture.  I can sometimes be sighted picking up a discarded piece of furniture off a curb and putting it into my car to take home for a project.   

Something unique about me is that I don't drink coffee, but I love hot chocolate.  

It's going to be a year of adventure.
