North East ISD’s Adult & Community Education programs serve learners of all ages, providing opportunities for personal growth, skill-building, and enrichment. From adult literacy and certification courses to creative outlets and youth programs, we offer something for every stage of life.

• Adult Education & Literacy ensures Texas adults gain the skills needed to thrive at home, work, and in the community, with courses that include workforce certifications.
• Academy of Learning in Retirement (ALIR) fosters lifelong learning and social connection through engaging classes in arts, history, literature, languages, and sciences, as well as luncheons, art shows, and special interest groups.
• Driver Education equips new drivers with the knowledge and decision-making skills needed to be safe and responsible on the road.
• Kids’ Camps provide themed, full-day seasonal experiences filled with enrichment, outdoor play, and creativity for Pre-K through 6th graders.
• Kids’ Involvement Network (KIN) delivers afterschool enrichment, recreation, and academic support at every NEISD elementary and middle school, helping students grow academically and socially in a safe environment.
