Low Ropes Challenge Course

North East ISD trustees serve four-year terms, and elections are held during even-numbered years. Trustees are elected by voters in the single member district (SMD) in which they currently reside. Please check your single member district before filing for candidacy or heading to the polls. The next election will be held May 2026 for SMDs 2, 3 and 7.
North East ISD contracts with the Bexar County Elections Department to operate voting sites and tabulate votes. The Bexar County Election Administrator determines early voting in person and election day polling locations. That information will be available closer to the May 2026 General Election.
The Secretary of State's office will provide important election dates for the May Uniform Election. The filing period for a place on the General Election ballot in May 2026 will be posted here when available. Interested candidates will be able to pick up an informational packet and file the necessary paperwork on the sixth floor of our District’s main office (8961 Tesoro Dr.). Candidates can also mail, fax or email their applications. A notice about the filing process will be posted here and on the bulletin board outside the District's main office in December 2025.
All campaign/election signage and material restriction, removal, etc., should be in accordance with laws set forth by the Texas Secretary of State, other state agencies, municipal governments and including, but not limited to the North East Independent School District (NEISD) Administrative Regulation GKD (R).

The NEISD Challenge / Low Ropes Course provides a unique opportunity for participants to experience a variety of outdoor initiatives and elements that build social and emotional skills such as communication, trust, and perseverance and an appreciation for nature and the outdoors.
By removing participants from their everyday environment and presenting them with out of the ordinary problem-solving and physical challenges, they discover what is possible within themselves and within their group or team.
At the end of each challenge, participants reflect on their success and how they overcame obstacles.
Most importantly, they will make connections between the lessons learned while working through the challenge and how it applies to their everyday life.
Come experience our challenge / low ropes course for the ultimate team building experience.
Both student and adult groups are welcome!
