The Transportation Department at North East Independent School District transports 16,000 students on 228 bus routes and travels 17,000 miles each school day within 144 square miles of the district. We are proud to provide a safe, reliable, economical, and courteous school bus service to all eligible students. Our route buses are 100% air-conditioned and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to increase student safety.
