Community Eligibility Provision Campuses

Students enrolled at CEP campuses should not complete the free and reduced-price meal application.  All students at these campuses automatically receive free meals.  For a list of current CEP campuses, please see the list below.

Apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals

Students who attend a school that does not participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) may still qualify for free or reduced-price school meals based on household eligibility.

Meal Benefits Can Mean More Than Meals

Qualifying for free or reduced-price meals may also provide access to additional benefits, including:

  • Free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch in your child’s school cafeteria
  • Reduced fees for summer school
  • Reduced fees for SAT and ACT testing
  • Reduced college application fees
  • Discounts or reduced-cost services from select businesses and community programs

How to Apply for Meal Benefits
(Families only need to complete one meal benefits application for all eligible students in the household.)
Apply Online through SchoolCafé

The online application is the quickest way to apply and have your application processed. Families can also receive their eligibility results electronically.

A link to the online application was emailed to households at non-CEP campuses on July 22.

Apply with a Paper Application

Paper applications are available at your child’s campus. Families may request an application from the campus and return the completed form to the school cafeteria.

Newly enrolled families can also request an application during registration.

Students attending the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) campuses listed for the 2026-27 school year will continue to receive breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria at no cost. These campuses are eligible for continued funding from the USDA to provide free meals to all students.

Students at all other campuses will need to apply for meal benefits at SchoolCafe.com/NorthEastISD

A new application must be submitted each year.
