School Administration

The School Administration and Administrative Staff Development Department ensures that principals and campus personnel are trained, coached and mentored to provide children an exciting and safe environment for discovery, achievement and success.

The staff of the School Administration and Staff Development Department are passionate in their continuing efforts to achieve that goal by providing support, guidance, and training for principals and campus-based personnel dedicated to achieving that goal.

About Us

Our team are former successful classroom teachers and principals with one simple goal: they want children to discover achievement and success in a safe, exciting and rigorous environment. 

The staff of the School Administration and Staff Development Department are passionate in their continuing efforts to achieve that goal by providing support, guidance, and training for principals and campus-based personnel dedicated to achieving that goal.

The three Executive Directors of School Administration incorporate the following strategies to ensure that children receive the high caliber education that they deserve:

  • Provide strong, purposeful coaching and training on a regular basis to develop skilled campus administrators
  • Facilitate quality training for individuals desiring to be future school leaders
  • Participate in campus and off-campus activities
  • Maintain close contact with campus administrators
  • Sponsor and implement quality administrative professional development
  • Provide assistance to principals to create and maintain safe, orderly environments for teaching and learning
  • Instill a strong belief in parent involvement and open lines of communication in support of their children's education
  • Coordinate with other divisions to provide quality educational experiences for all students

Mrs. Lisa Campos, Executive Director

Mrs. Campos began her career in education at Clear Spring Elementary in NEISD, where she served as a Classroom Teacher, Dyslexia Interventionist, and Reading Coach. She later served as an Assistant Principal at Ridgeview Elementary and Tuscany Heights Elementary before becoming Principal of Oak Meadow Elementary. Now an Executive Director of Campus Administration, Mrs. Campos has devoted her entire career to North East ISD. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas–Pan American and Master’s Degrees in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Mrs. Campos is passionate about growing children, teachers, and principals to ensure learning for all.

Dr. Justin Oxley, Executive Director

Justin Oxley is the newest Executive Director for School Administration. Dr. Oxley received his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University, master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and most recently completed his doctorate degree from UTSA.

Dr. Oxley’s educational career began in North East ISD at Garner Middle School where he taught Choir and coached. He served as an Assistant Principal at Garner Middle School for four years followed by three years as Assistant Principal at LEE High School. Dr. Oxley was named Principal of Bradley Middle School in 2006 and then held the position of Principal of Winston Churchill High School from 2011-2019. As an Executive Director, Dr. Oxley’s duties include supervising, mentoring and coaching NEISD administrators. He also coordinates administrative leadership and staff development opportunities for all NEISD administrators as well as future administrators.
