At North East ISD, we believe that athletics are a vital part of a well-rounded education, offering opportunities for students to grow in every aspect of life. Available to all students in grades 7-12 at NEISD Middle and High Schools, our Athletic Department is dedicated to developing student-athletes who excel in competition, academics, and community
involvement.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the NEISD Athletic Department is to nurture core values in our student- athletes that will guide them throughout their lives. Through sports, we aim to develop qualities such as leadership, resilience, and accountability, equipping students for success both on and off the field.

NEISD Tickets

 
North East ISD offers online ticket purchasing
for all NEISD varsity and non-varsity games.
Everyone that requires a seat will need to
purchase a ticket.

Ticket will be available to purchase starting at
12:00 PM on Sunday each week prior to the
events.

FACILITIES

BLOSSOM ATHLETIC CENTER

North East ISD has a central athletic complex for varsity competition. This complex is Blossom Athletic Center and it is located at 12002 Jones Maltsberger Road, in the center of the school district. This complex serves as the gathering place for students, parents and spectators in all competitive events.

This competitive venue contains an 11,000 seat football stadium and track. The stadium has been renovated and boasts a new press box and Astroturf field. The competition track was installed in the summer of 1999.

There is also a 5,000 seat basketball/volleyball arena that serves the school district for many competitive events and also meets other special needs.

A new natatorium has been completed that contains state of the art aquatic equipment and will also seat 1500 spectators.

There is a baseball stadium, two soccer fields and thirteen tennis courts located at Blossom Athletic Center.

Each campus has modern dressing rooms and other facilities to provide for the development of student athletes. The campus serves as the competition site for all sub varsity athletics. The North East middle schools also

have athletic facilities that include a football field, two gymnasiums and tennis courts.

BILL WALKER POOL

 

The original facility was built in 1962. With the 2015 Bond passed by NEISD voters, the Walker Pool structure will be removed beginning February 2018. A new facility will be built with a proposed completion date of October 7, 2019.

The new facility will include upstairs seating for 800 spectators and will have the ability to host multiple high school, collegiate and age group competitions

JOSH DAVIS NATATORIUM

 

This facility opened in January 2001 and has hosted many Championship level Swimming & ping competitions. This facility includes stadium seating for 1500 spectators and includes four (4) one-meter and two (2) ping boards NE SPORTS PARK POOL

This renovated facility opened in September 2017 and includes a heated outdoor pool with 6 x 25 m lanes and a shallow teaching area.

Currently, the pool is used by all NEISD High School Swim Teams and the North East Aquatic Team (AAAA). Lap swimming hours will begin in February 2018 and the Swim America lesson program will be held at this facility starting in June 2018.

COMALANDER STADIUM, HEROES STADIUM, & LITTLETON GYMNASIUM

We would like to share the following with you in an effort to make the experience enjoyable.

No backpacks will be allowed in the stadium. Inpiduals arriving with backpacks will be asked to place them in the car or check them in at the ticket booth for retrieval after the game.

No food or drinks are allowed into the stadium.

Gold cards, player passes, NEISD employee passes, etc. must enter through the pass gates located near the ticket booth at each stadium.
