Registration during the summer can look different depending on your student’s situation. Select the option that best fits your family.

Before You Begin

To avoid delays, upload all required documents during online registration. Once your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps and important information about accessing Skyward Family Access.


New to North East ISD

Elementary School (Pre-K–5)

What to Expect

New student registrations will be processed June 8–July 23.

After your registration is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and information about preparing for the school year.

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

What to Expect

New student registrations will be processed June 8–July 23.

After registration is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps. Counselors return to campuses in late July and will contact families regarding class scheduling.

High School (Grades 6–8)

What to Expect

Parents will complete the online registration process and upload all required documents. Once registration has been processed, the campus registrar will contact the parent to schedule an appointment with a high school counselor for course selection for the upcoming school year. Appointments may be offered virtually or in person, and families will receive a confirmation once scheduled.

During the advising appointment, parents and students will receive important information about the upcoming school year. School counselors will assist with course selection and answer academic questions.

Am I required to upload my student documents to online registration?

Yes. You will be required to upload all the required documents listed for your students’ registration to be processed.

I do not have a computer or mobile phone; how can I register my student?

High School Registrations:

(June 11–July 10). Campus registrars will be available to assist parents with in-person high school registrations. Please contact your local high school for assistance. Click here to determine the campus for your home address.

Elementary and Middle School Registrations:

Central Office registration specialists will be available Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm. Contact us to schedule an appointment in our computer lab to get assistance

What happens after I complete the online registration?

High School Registrations:

Parents will complete the online registration process and upload all required documents. Once the registration has been processed, the parents will receive an email with a link to schedule an appointment with the high school counselor to select courses for the 26-27 school year. The parent selects the date and time of the appointment electronically based on the counselor’s availability. The appointment can be virtual or in-person. Once the appointment is scheduled, the parents will receive a confirmation email for the appointment.

During counselor advising appointments, parents and students will receive important information about the upcoming school year. School counselors will also assist with course selection and answer any academic questions.
