Welcome to a great new year. This is my 20th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, First and Third Grade. I love the fact that I was able to teach 3rd Grade the first year of the STAAR test. It showed me what is expected when students get to 3rd Grade. It provided  new opportunities to show my students how to be successful and to prepare them with the essential strategies that will continue to benefit them in the future. 

 My goal is to provide as much information to the students as well as the parents on ways to make our school year successful. Teamwork is essential between the teacher and parents so that we can provide the best opportunities for every child. I use Seesaw Family in my classroom and it provides immediate feedback so that we are in constant communication with parents.
