I was born and raised in New Orleans; however, I have spent all of my adult life in San Antonio, Tx.  I have been an educator for 40 yrs.  I served as a teacher and an administrator in the Archdiocese of San Antonio for 21 yrs., and I have been a teacher in NEISD for 14 yrs. I am entering my 12th year at Roosevelt and my 12th year teaching seniors.  I can truly say my years here have been the most rewarding of my career.  Seniors are the best!! I look forward to spending the rest of my career at TR, and perhaps I will spend my retirement years volunteering as a Roughrider!

My widowed daughter-in-law, Christien, lives with me.  She is a middle school teacher history teacher in NISD and we love comparing notes. My son, Michael and his wife Leela live in Georgetown, Tx. with their four furry rescue pets. Franklin and Oliver Snacks (cats) and Maebe and Otter-Pop (dogs).
