Mrs. Janet Robey
I graduated from high school in Illinois in 1972. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison, from January 1980 through December 1982, attaining a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. For the next 20 years I proudly served my country in the Army Nurse Corps. I retired from the military in March 2003 at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston. I am married to another retired Army Nurse, Michael Robey who teaches at Reagan High School.
Teaching was an integral part of being an officer in the military, as well as being a nurse. I desired to teach once I retired and, therefore, went through Region 20's Alternate Teacher's Certificate program to fulfill that desire. I have been teaching at MacArthur since 2006. I have taught biology, Earth and Space Science, and chemistry.
I am a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, and have been for many years, which is not cool in Cowboy and Texan country. I enjoy watching a good game of football no matter who is playing. I enjoy doing a variety of activities to include: reading and collecting books, bowling, crafts, sewing, fishing, family history, and learning.
