Mrs. Christy Rastellini

For the past 28 years, I've taught science at MacArthur High School, teaching Anatomy & Physiology and Biology. Prior to that, I taught Physical Education, Health, and coached Varsity soccer for 13 years at Robert E. Lee. This year will be my 42nd year of teaching.....still loving it.

My teaching philosophy is simple: I believe showing that you care about your students and treating them respectfully can have a positive and lasting impact on a student's life forever. I strive to build a rapport with my students that allows them to express themselves in class and that they're not being judged. My role as an educator is to help students learn, grow, develop into successful  individuals.

My goal is to create an enjoyable, positive, and fun learning environment! A class that students look forward to attending and one that incorporates a variety of "hands on" activities to enhance their learning of the human body.

The ultimate compliment is when  students decide to enter the medical field due to your enthusiasm and love for what you teach!
