Mrs. Kelsey Thomas
Hello! My name is Kelsey Thomas and I was born and raised here in San Antonio. I am a MacArthur alumni where I played volleyball (4), basketball (2), and soccer (2). I continued my education at St. Mary's University where I played volleyball all four years on a full scholarship and earned my Bachelor's degree in Art education in 2015. After graduating, I came back to MacArthur in 2015 to begin teaching and coaching volleyball, basketball, and one year of track. In 2021, I hung up my whistle and am now teaching Art 1, Art 1 Honors, Painting II, III, IV, and sponsering National Art Honor Society.
I married my husband Adam in October of 2022, and we are now expecting our first bab girl! We are very excited, and our dog Tank can't wait to meet his new best friend. In my free time I love going to Port Aransas to visit family, hiking, camping in our Texas State Parks and National Parks, traveling, and finding new inspirations for my artwork! I enjoy photography, painting, drawing, and keeping up with new creative trends. I'm also an active participant in First Friday's downtown, local art exhibits, and do commissioned artwork on the side.
