Before I began my teaching career, I completed my undergraduate and graduate programs at Trinity University. I earned my Bachelors degree in Sociology and my Masters in Teaching. During my undergraduate years I played on the women's volleyball team from 2005-2008. After completing my collegiate volleyball career I knew I could not let that passion run out, so I have continued my love for sports through high school coaching. My passion for sports is also strengthened during almost every professional sports season. I am originally from Houston, TX so I am an avid Texans, Rockets, and Astros fan. However, living in San Antonio for 18 years now and marrying a born and raised San Antonian, the Spurs have found a place in my heart as well.

I started my coaching and teaching career at Churchill High School where I was the assistant volleyball and soccer coach from 2010-2017 and taught World History for 2 years and AP Government for 5 years. I was beyond excited about making the move over to MacArthur as the Head Volleyball Coach, and now as of this summer the Assistant Athletic Coordinator. Leading the MacArthur Volleyball program to a new beginnign and revitalization with our first playoff appearance since 2016, and our first playoff win since 2010, were some of the most exciting moments I have had at MacArthur. However, nothing ever beats getting to work with our future Brahmas, and help cultivate the future generations of our school and community. I am excited to see what this year has to come!
