Mr. Chris Castro
Hello! My name is Chris Castro and I am the 7th grade Assistant Principal at Nimitz Middle School. I am excited to be working with our seventh graders this year and plan to see them to high school after the 2021-22 school year. We had a good year getting to know each other last year and I know your child will be able to tell you that I truly care about them, even when they frustrate me or I am having to discipline them.
This is my fifth year in North East ISD and I am beyond excited to guide and support our kids as they mature into responsible young adults ready for high school and beyond. I welcome any calls or emails with questions or concerns you may have. If I am not in the office, I will return your call or email before I leave for the day.

7th Grade Schedule
Students are to be signed in to their Google Classroom and Zoom at least 5 minutes before the start of the class. Here is the schedule we will follow during the 2020-2021 school year.
A Days - 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th periods will meet (Aug. 17, Aug. 19, Aug. 21, Aug. 25, Aug. 27, Aug 31 - every other school day)
B Days - 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th periods will meet (Aug. 18, Aug. 20, Aug. 24, Aug. 26, Aug. 28 - every other school day)
