Hi and welcome back to school!

I teach the 6th and 7th grade Reading Acceleration Course (RAC) and have been teaching at Jackson Middle School for 10 years. I am a proud product of NEISD, having spent my primary and secondary years in NorthEast schools. I graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2004 and received my B.A. in English at UTSA. 

Besides teaching, I enjoy reading in my spare time (of course), cooking, and binging true crime shows on Netflix. I also enjoy staying active by practicing yoga and taking the occasional spin class. I also have 3 chocolate labs that keep me incredibly busy!
